2024 Write Club (for Grown Ups)

The First Rule of Write Club is: Talk about Write Club. 

We’re opening up a version of our popular youth Write Club series for adults: (Because grown ups need clubs and fun too!)! These workshops offer the opportunity to explore various genres and topics in writing with local teaching artists throughout the year at a fraction of the cost of purchasing them individually.

Registration

Your registration is confirmed once full payment is received. You’ll receive an email confirmation once you’re registered.

Masking and Vaccinations

For in-person classes and events, masks are appreciated in common areas as we have medically sensitive folks attending, and want everyone to be able to participate. COVID-19 vaccinations are strongly recommended, but not required.

Refunds

Registrations are typically eligible for a refund if canceled two weeks prior to the start of the class, program, or event. No refunds will be issued if registration is canceled after this date except in the following circumstances: you are ill with a contagious viral illness, such as COVID-19, RSV, or influenza. Please email bewriting@wordcrafters.org to request a refund.

If the class is canceled by Wordcrafters in Eugene, a full refund will be issued.

Photography and Filming

Photographs, audio, and video may be captured during the event, class, or program to help people in the community (as well as grantors and sponsors) know about the programs we offer. Attendees hereby grant Wordcrafters in Eugene, and its representatives, permission to photograph and/or record them and/or their minor child(ren) if registering for a minor, and to distribute (both now and in the future) the attendee's image and/or voice in photographs, videotapes, electronic reproductions, and audiotapes of such events and activities. 

Personal data

By registering, you agree to Wordcrafters in Eugene’s processing of the personal data you submit as part of registration for the following purposes:

  • To communicate with you regarding the event for which you registered

  • For our internal reporting purposes

  • As reasonably necessary for the management and organization of the event for which you registered

  • To communicate with grantors

  • For any other purpose to which you consent in connection with the event

You also agree that Wordcrafters in Eugene may disclose the personal data you submit as part of registration to:

  • Co-organizers of the event as reasonably necessary for the management and organization of the event for which you registered

  • Third-party service providers assisting Wordcrafters with the event

  • Other third parties for which you consent to disclosure in connection with the event
